Definition of Leadership

Here is one of the game-changing definitions of ‘Leadership’ by Indian Business motivational and CEO coach, Dr. Vivek Bindra

Leadership is an influence of personal Power that creates progressively advancing communities towards the common purpose.

I understand, this definition sounds technical but don’t worry, I am here to make it simpler for you.

Leadership is taking ownership of everything which relates to own responsibility and also realizing others take responsibility of their own.

Leadership is not a positioning power that someone lets go of and takes a position. It is a personal power that influences people to work together for a common purpose.

Effective leaders know their vision clearly, what they want, why they want, and how to get that. They understand how to motivate people by words. True leaders don’t believe in order. They believe in taking responsibility.

A true leader was Mahatma Gandhi who was widely recognized as one of the twentieth century’s greatest political leaders. Honored in India as the father of the nation. He has not led a few people. He led the whole nation against the British for giving independence to India.

He has no positioning power. He has no wealth, he has no a great background, money, hard skills, etc. But he has the power to get together with people and work for a specific goal.
