For what?

To smoothen our life, make our life easy. Not only for our daily life but also for our professional careers.

50% of all employees will need reskilling by 2025, as adoption of technology increases, according to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report.

And somehow you realized that what we are doing in the present, has an impact on our future. So that we should build ourselves in the way that our future expects from us. Right?

According to the World Economic Forum (WEF), for making ourselves future-ready and coping with the speed of the World we should adopt 21st-century soft skills (creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, information literacy, media literacy, etc) which we have already discussed in our previous article if not, don’t be late.

According to Wikipedia, this skill is the ability to use, manage, understand, and assess technology.

As the border between physical and digital gets more permeable, a new kind of literacy emerges. And that literacy is built on the foundation of code- whether it’s the voice of letters and words or the code of bits and algorithms.

-John Battelle

a person who has adopted this skill set is able to easily operate a variety of digital devices (e.g., computers, smartphones, tablets) and platforms (e.g., e-mail, internet, social media, cloud computing) to communicate, troubleshoot and problems solve in both academic and non-academic surroundings.

Technology has augmented our lives with greater amenities, expanded access to information, and revolutionized how we work. Although many of us are now aware of using technology, most of us would not know how to build and maintain the websites and apps which we already have. Don’t we think these skills are highly needed?
